Atlanta is divided into 242 neighborhoods officially recognized by the city. These neighborhoods make up twenty-five Neighborhood Planning Units (NPU). The Alliance provides a forum for leaders in each community to meet in an informal setting and exchange ideas about their community, the City of Atlanta, and to express their concerns and work toward solutions.
The focus of this forum is on these neighborhoods which are one of the defining characteristics of our city.
