Midtown
Midtown is an eclectic mix of urban lifestyles that includes the Peachtree corridor and the Midtown Historic area. The Peachtree corridor includes nearly 7,000 condominiums, apartments, and loft-style residences units, most of which are located on or just blocks away from Peachtree Street. The corridor also includes 3 MARTA rail stops at North Avenue, Midtown, and the Arts Center as well as local bus connections, bike lanes and excellent interstate accessibility.
The Midtown historic area is an approximately 360-acre historic neighborhood of early to mid 20th century single-family residences on the eastern side of the Peachtree corridor just south of Piedmont Park. Mostly organized on a grid street pattern, the Midtown Historic neighborhood is roughly bound by 10th Street, Ponce de Leon Ave., Piedmont Ave. and Lakeview Ave. The Midtown Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. |
